today in history...

Ok so I have Mr.Adams for history and he wasnt even here on Thursday! We were suppose to watch a movie but noooooooo. He sucks. So instead we had to read about the French revolution. Boringgggggg. The only thing I learned about the French revolution was that they copied America! They have 3 "estates" and a "Constitution" and a "Decleration of Rights." Ohhh and when they were making the Constitution or the Decleration... (I dont remember which) but I know that they met on a tennis court until they finnished it. And that's all I learned.

today in math...

Ok, today in math I have no idea what was going on. Math is my worst subjest, ESPICALLY when Mr. Zirpoli teaches it. Well I have him for Geometry and we are on chapter 9. Chapter 9 deals with right trianlges and sine, cosine, and tanget. (SOHCAHTOA) But in the middle of chapter 9 we went back to do 7.4 and thats pretty much the only thing I actually understood!!! It was graphs and translations and stuff. Im good with graphs and exact answers. But when you have to guess and round ughhhh I hate it!!!
SOHCAHTOA is the formula used to find sine, cosine and tangent.
"some old hippy caught a high trippin on acid"
Sine- Opposite over hypotenuse
Cosine- Ajacent over hypotenuse
Tangent- Opposite over ajacent

My Favorite Portuguese foods:

Well... first of all, I'm Portuguese and I love Portuguese food!!
I'm going to tell you the best foods that I know of.

Breakfast...
The best Portuguese breakfast would have to be... Malasadas ( a.k.a . flippers)
Not like fish flippers, that's just what we call them. I don't know why.
Its like a Portuguese donut. They are very delicious.
We eat them at my house on special occasions.
(Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Birthdays, Easter, Etc.)
You can eat them many different in ways.
I like them plain with nothing on it, I know... weird!!
But my family eats them manyyy other ways..
-put powered sugar on it
-Karo Syrup
-chocolate syrup with whipped cream
-or put fruit on it

Lunch or Dinner...
The best Portuguese lunch would have to be... Linguica e arroz (linguica and rice).
Linguica is Portuguese sausage. Its very popular.
There is almost always linguica in my fridge at home. hahaha
We usually eat it for lunch or dinner.
You can make it with any kind of rice.
Its really simple and very yummy.
Everyone should try it!!

Books I think everyone should read...

One good book i know of is "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know its a kids book by Dr. Suess. But honestly I think that book is amazing. I remembering reading that book every single day when I was little. Its my favorite book of all time! :)

A good series to read would be "Left Behind" These books are about what happens when Jesus comes back to Earth and takes the believers with him to heaven. So the series of books are about those "left behind." The author is Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. There are "Left Behind" books for everyone. Kids and adults. I think everyone should read it, even if you dont believe in God. They are good books!

Another good book I think people should read is "Shouts at Sunrise" This book is REALLY good! Its about a Christian Missionary in Quito, Ecuador who gets kidnapped and held hostage. The Kidnappers want money! Its a great story because its TRUE! And the book has actual pictures. Its an amazing book. And its not that long. You could finnish it in like 2 hours. I think everyone should read it!!! If you are interested go buy it, because im not gonna tell what happens. Thats will ruin the story.

my dog is cutest!!!
